If you are looking to get your "foot in the door" and learn the ropes this is the place. We are looking for highly motivated students that want to learn the ins and outs of a radio sales & advertising .

WLTE works with many major advertisers and agencies in the country. We work with our clients on programs ranging from the Minnesota State Fair to station specific events like Load the Bus for Learning.
Who
- WLTE-FM , CBS Radio, Minneapolis - Adult Contemporary
- Consistently one of the top ranked stations in the market for most demographics, particularly females and at-work listeners.
What
- You'll be assigned to work exclusively with successful account executives on their projects
- Duties will include every aspect of account development, including...
- Prospecting, client meetings, avail submissions, commercial copy, brainstorming, landscaping, paperwork, web ad design, and web ad execution etc.
- Assisting the promotions department with executing events and prize distribution.
Where
- WLTE’s downtown office in the historic CBS Radio building, 625 2nd Avenue South, Minneapolis.
When
- Depending on availability, Summer 2007 (July, August)
- We are looking for at least a minimum of 15 hours per week commitment.
You Must Be
- 18 years of age or older
- Internships require an applicant to be receiving academic credit for the internship.
- All positions are unpaid, and WLTE does not provide for transportation reimbursement costs.
- An outgoing personality and flexible schedule.

- If student is deemed worthy, a letter of recommendation can be produced and job interview once student has graduated.
