I'm originally from New Jersey, but amazingly enough, I don't talk like Tony Soprano. I don't know how I avoided that. My wife Renee and I share our home with a drooling, hyperactive black lab and a big fat cat with no tail. We've lived in the Midwest previously, having spent some time in Madison, Wisconsin, and are excited to be back. I'm a fan of all kinds of music, sports (especially baseball and football) and I could watch horse racing all day, even if I'm not betting. Just ask my wife.
I started my radio career right after high school, so I'm proud to say I've gotten through my entire adult life without a real job. The first time I ever opened my mouth in front of a microphone, absolutely nothing came out. It was all downhill from there. It's always nice to meet listeners and hear them say they feel like they already know you. If you tell us that, then we're doing our job. Feel free to call or e-mail any time.
For those of you that don't know, I co-hosted mornings in Minneapolis/St. Paul for nearly a decade. Since leaving, I've received countless emails from listeners who have been anxious to follow me to my new radio home. I'm so thrilled to tell you, my new home is Lite FM! I grew up on a cattle farm, and I'm definitely more comfy in a pair of jeans than a dress! I'm a huge foodie, and I love to cook. If there is one celebrity I dream about meeting in person, it would be Paula Deen, the host of "Paula's Home Cooking" on the Food Network. I've had the opportunity to interview her by phone twice, and I had stars in my eyes!
I'm crazy, crazy, CRAZY about all four-legged creatures. (Except for spiders. But they have six legs, right?) I own a Quarter Horse named William. He's a big brown horse with a white spot on his face. His favorite treat is peppermints. I also own two Dobermans named Ursula and Elwood. Both are rescue dogs. For those of you who think Dobermans are big meanies, you should meet my dogs! They just might lick you to death!
